  I AM THE NEW MEETUP ORGANIZER FOR EX-JW's IN MICHIGAN

  hi all you fellow michiganders.. i wanted to make you aware that the meetup site entitled, "ex-jehovah's witnesses of michigan" will not be disolved.

  i decided since today was the last day before it would be no more, i should step up, and so i gladly did.. seeing that there has not been one meetup since it's inception, i plan to change that.

  i know there is at least one person from here who is registered with our meetup.

  I am happy to report I am setting a date for our MEETUP. It will take place on Saturday, July 7th at the Olive Garden in Novi. I am hoping 1 pm is alright with everyone. If not, please tell me asap, because on Mon or Tues, I am calling them to make a reservation IF we have 8 people or more..So, please let me know how many will be in your party so I can keep tabs.

  This will be my first MEETUP ever, and I'd rather have no other people to experience with, than former JW's.

  Oh, did you send me a MEETUP request today, because I received one from somebody.

  And because I didn't get a definite on this weekend from some, I am going to stick with the original plan of July in Novi. Then perhaps we can do Lansing in Aug, and Ann Arbor in Sept.

  I'm so excited you want to join and live in the Lansing area I'm originally not from around here, so I know NO JW's current or ex.

  the menu above an unbroken chain link will now appear, past url again in the new pop out box where it says Link URL,

  I am trying to link something on another thread and am having difficulty. Where is the menu you are talking about? lol I feel like an idiot..I copy/paste from utube, as you suggested, but then i get messages here..u cannot copy/paste using Firefox, etc. I tried both copy/pasting the links both using firefox & IE.

  Please be patient with me and explain it in blonde terms the part that is tripping me up?

  iclone..That was a very heart-felt, beautiful letter and since your mom (so far) is open to evidence, I wonder if you can point her in the right direction. There is a vid by Danmera on youtube that is very good. Although she is deemed an "apostate", she sticks up for and has a very nice message regarding the every day JW's, in her latest vid.

  Perhaps you can watch it and see if it is something you think will hit home with your mom. Under the video there are links to documents and the court transcript. I am thinking if your mom would be open to at least checking out some of the documents or transcrpt, then she can see for herself what this one case alone is all about...and this is by far not an isolated instance, as we are all too sadly aware.
